Joelie + Athanasius | A Romantic Sunrise Couples Session in Laguna Beach

Joelie and Athanasius are a newly wed couple from Las Vegas and we had such a blast shooting their honeymoon photoshoot. We embarked on a magical sunrise couples session on the gorgeous beaches of Laguna Beach. While sunset sessions are enchanting, sunrise sessions bring a unique and special vibe to the experience. It was such a fun experience and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of the session!

A Playful Laguna Beach Couples Session

Joelie and Athanasius, young and deeply in love, had such an amazing time during their couples session! We had a two hour sunrise photoshoot in Laguna Beach which gave us so much time to capture amazing memories. This extended time frame allowed for multiple outfit changes and exploration of two distinct beach locations within walking distance of each other. The sunrise added such a special touch to their photos, resulting in a perfect laid-back romantic session.

Special Sunrise Moments in California

To break any initial nerves, I always bring my speaker along to create a more relaxed atmosphere. We discovered we had the same taste in music, which broke the ice and helped wake us up! Since J + A were up for anything, their session took an adventurous turn. We tried to get Joelie in the water, but her desert bones thought it was way too cold. The attempt still made for fun photos!
