Love has a beautiful way of transcending generations, and this sentiment was truly captured in the engagement photoshoot of Nicole and Eric. N + E embarked on a journey to create memories at the same spot where Nicole's parents celebrated their love - a classic Southern California beach in Newport Beach, CA. The nostalgia of this location, paired with the desire to replicate her mom and dad's black and white photo, added an extra layer of sentimental magic to the day.
Newport Beach | A Dreamy California Engagement
Newport Beach was swarming with dozens of photographers, but you would have never knows by the photos. Stepping onto the sandy shores of Newport Beach, Nicole and Eric were filled with a mixture of excitement and nerves. They wanted to honor the legacy of their parents' love while also creating something uniquely their own.
As their photographer, my goal was to capture not just the images, but the emotions—the laughter, the tenderness, the sheer joy of being together. Despite their initial apprehension about posing and being affectionate in front of the camera, Nicole and Eric quickly relaxed into the moment. With their favorite songs filling the air and the warmth of the sun on their skin, they danced and laughed as I captured magic for them.
